Went kayaking with Mom, Cinda, Callie, and Roman. Four generations! I can't believe my sister is a grandma! Roman is usually animated but he just sat quietly and expectantly, awed by it all. An alligator swam along side and between mine and Callie's canoe. My camera was inside a plastic bag and that was inside my cooler and I couldn't get it out fast enough to get a picture, he swam along side us for over a minute.
We watched Bye Bye Birdie while it rained this afternoon. Mom said that they took us to see it in France in 63. We loved that movie! They took us again when we lived in Virginia. Dad told us that he was taking us to see a new movie called Bye Bye Buzzard. :) We went out for a hamburger and french fries at the cafe across from the theatre and then (We knew it Dad!) Mom and Dad and two excited little girls walked across the street to what they had hoped for. All I did was dance after that! What a special day.
